Do you offer free estimates?

Yes — we give you a clear quote before any work starts, so you know the number up front with no surprises added at the end. Ask us when you call and we'll walk you through exactly how estimates work for your job.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Jayco Electrical is a licensed and insured electrical contractor, Baeumler Approved, and every job is done to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code — so the person in your home is qualified and the work is held to the standard.

Do you take on small jobs, or only big projects?

Both. A single dead outlet and a full panel-and-generator install get the same crew and the same upfront quote — customers hire us for jobs big and small. If you're not sure it's worth a call, call anyway.

What counts as an electrical emergency, and what should I do?

A burning smell, scorched or sparking outlets, a panel that's hot to the touch, or losing power to part of the house are all reasons to stop and call. Turn off the affected circuit at the panel if it's safe to reach, and phone us — don't wait it out.

Do you handle both homes and businesses?

Both. We do residential work from pot lights to full renovations, and commercial work from lighting design and power distribution to standby generators and fire-alarm wiring — across the GTA, Durham, Muskoka, and the Kawarthas.
